Bakewell Old House Museum is a history museum set in a house with it’s origins in the 16th century in Bakewell, Derbyshire.

The museum feature 10 beamed rooms, filled with an eclectic mix of historic artefacts telling of life in Tudor and Victorian times as well as Bakewell’s industrial history. Some of the items on display include a collection of textiles, costumes, toys plus a rare Tudor toilet and Victorian privy. Guided tours available for groups.

  • Children under 5 – FREE
