Bankfield Museum is a museum located in Halifax in West Yorkshire.

Located in an Italian Victorian villa, in the attractive Akroydon park, the house once belonged to Edward Akroyd an important local mill owner.

The museum contains a gallery about the Duke of Wellington's Regiment, the World of Textiles Gallery containing important collections of textiles and costumes and a Toy Gallery. There is also a changing temporary exhibition space and a Community exhibition space.

The mansion also has many original architectural features to see such as painted ceilings, marble fireplaces and a private chapel. The museum holds regular events including tours, bazaars and Murder Mystery events.
