Bygones

Bygones is a museum recreating rooms, shops and scenes from yesteryear located in Torquay in Devon.

This indoor attraction, set over three floors, exhibits genuine artefacts from bygone eras displayed in recreated scenes along with costumed posed dummies. The Victorian era areas include a Victorian street scene complete with shops including a general store, apothecary and a toy shop plus a Victorian nursery and kitchen. There's also a recreated WWI trench and a WWII Anderson shelter with lots of military artefacts, a 1940's and 50's shopping arcade, a 28 foot long scenic model railway, Fantasy land with miniature landmarks from around the world, an old fashioned amusement arcade and a display of P&O memorabilia.

• Station Café serves home-made cakes, cream teas and drinks.
• Dogs welcome on a lead (not in cafe).
