The Ice Cream Farm in Cheshire is a free to enter attraction. It’s centred around the ice cream parlour which features in excess of 40 different flavours of ice cream flavours ranging from the classic award winning vanilla pod to more unusual flavours such as liquorice and blackcurrant. Watch the ice cream being produced in the Artisan room behind a fully glazed viewing area. At certain times you can also see the cows being milked in the milking barn.
Not just about ice cream the site also features lots to do for kids. The Animal corner contain a range of animals to view including pigs, miniature ponies, guinea pigs and rabbits. There is also an outdoor adventure playground, kids quad bikes, a mini golf course and a mineral sieving attraction called ‘Fools gold Rush’. Indoors there’s another adventure play area called ‘Crazy Daisy’s fun factory’ which a fully air-conditioned, ice-cream themed play area with a self-contained ‘soft play’ area for toddlers up to 90cm and a comfortable seating area for grown-ups to supervise.
Nearby the Country Kitchen Café has a selection hot and cold drinks, sandwiches and toasties plus daily specials, children’s meals and a selection of freshly made cakes along with Wi-fi internet access so you can check your emails while drinking your beverage of choice. There is also a gift shop on-site.
Two rooms have also been created to hire for childrens’ parties. The first is the Ice Cream Cave containing an ice cream making machine which talks the children through the ice cream making process allowing them to press buttons to advance the process and resulting in some delicious ice cream. The loft is the second room located above the ice cream parlour and is designed to be more appealing to older kids and teenagers featuring graffiti walls, mood lighting , chill areas, arcade machines, a pool table, air hockey table, juke box, dance floor and karaoke machine.
