Drayton Manor Theme Park

Drayton Manor Theme Park is a theme park and zoo near Tamworth in Staffordshire.

The park has a range of rides to suit all members of family. Thrill rides include Air Race, Apocalypse (lift and drop), The Bounty (pirate ship), Maelstrom (outward facing gyro-swing), Pandemonium (double arm inverter), Shockwave (stand-up roller coaster) and Stormforce 10 (chute water coaster).

Some of the family orientated things to see and do include a 4D cinema presentation, a big wheel, dodgems, Ben 10 Ultimate mission, The haunting, Splash Canyon, a Chairlift, amusement arcade, Wild West shootout ride (shooting targets with fake hand guns in a moving ride), Drunken barrels (spinning ride), Buffalo coaster and a carousel. The Thomas Land area has 12 Thomas the Tank engine themed rides and attractions for younger children and there is also a Dino trail with life-size models of dinosaurs.

The zoo part of the park has over a 100 species of animal on display over 15 acres including lizards, turtles, tortoises, snakes, porcupines, leopards, lynx, monkeys, gibbons, lemurs, scorpions, deer, invertebrates, raccoons, wallabies, meerkats, crocodiles, ostrich, owls, parrots, macaws and other birds. Zoo keeper experiences available.
