East Pool Mine

East Pool Mine consists of a discovery centre plus two original engine houses and is located between Camborne and Redruth in Cornwall.

This attraction is managed by the National Trust is one of the sites throughout Cornwall that collectively makeup the Cornish Mining World Heritage site. The site features a discovery centre and two engine houses containing working steam-powered beam engines that are in action daily. In the Industrial Discovery Centre visitors will find exhibitions explaining what life was like for the miners, how the mine worked and the importance of the mining industry with informational displays, hands-on exhibits, models and a film.
