Great North Museum: Hancock is a museum in Newcastle Upon Tyne city centre in Tyne and Wear.

This indoor attraction has collections of items on display covering the topics of Natural history, geological specimens, archaeological artefacts and antiquities. Some of the more prominent exhibits include a life-size replica of a T-Rex dinosaur skeleton, an interactive model of Hadrian’s Wall, Egyptian mummies and a virtual aquarium. Some of the other items on display include Egyptian and Greek artefacts, stuffed animals, armour, figurines, fossils, minerals, rocks, maps, models and some live animal tanks. The museum also has a Planetarium with shows at intervals throughout the day (charge). There are also landscaped gardens around the museum building for visitors use.

Open weekdays from 10am to 5pm, Saturdays from 10am to 4pm and Sundays from 11am to 4pm.
