This house was owned by the daughter of Shakespeare Susanna and her husband John Hall. John Hall was a physician and some of his case notes were published after his death. These give an insight into early seventeenth-century medical practice. An exhibition on his life and medicine at the time is on the upper floor. The property also features a garden and is belived to be the most haunted Shakespeare property.
