Stratford Town Walks are organised walking tours of Stratford town centre that happen every day all year round, in all weathers and they were finalists in the Pride of Stratford Awards for 'Tourism Initiative of the Year' 2013.

The 'Town Walk' route, the guides take you, goes past the 3 Shakespeare houses, the school Shakespeare attended, other 15th century timber-framed buildings in the town, the river Avon, the Royal Shakespeare theatre and the Holy Trinity Church where Shakespeare is interred. Guided by enthusiastic, experienced local guides with lots of in depth knowledge of Stratford upon Avon and it's history, they give talks that are both informative and entertaining.

The walk takes about 2 hours, is navigable by wheelchairs and you are also welcome to bring your dogs. There is no need to book you just turn up on the day at the Swan fountain near the Royal Shakespeare theatre opposite the end of Sheep street. Participants in the walk also get a book of vouchers for money off various attractions, shops and restaurants in Stratford.

The tour starts at 11am on Mondays to Thursdays, at 2pm on Fridays and there are two tours at weekends one at 11am and one at 2pm. On Christmas Day the tour starts at 10:30am.

The company also do a 'Stratford Town Ghost Walk' every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday starting at 7:30pm lasting about 1 and half hours. It is necessary to book for this walk and it may not be suitable for some young children.

The tour is guided by professional magicians who take you past all the locations in Stratford with mysterious tales associated to them and tell stories of misery, murder, witches and ghosts. The meeting place is the same as for the town walk. They also do ghost cruises, supper cruises and can arrange specific tours for groups.
