Stretton Watermill

Stretton Watermill is a working water-powered corn mill in East of Wrexham in Cheshire.

With parts dating from 1630, this working watermill was extended and re-roofed in 1770 and extended again in 1819. An experienced miller will take visitors around the mill, relating it's history with interesting tales and showing the mill and machinery in operation. The mill also contains displays and miniature models to see plus there is also a 19th century stable to view. The rural countryside setting surrounding the mill pond has a picnic area for your own picnic.
