The International Centre for Birds of Prey is a bird of prey sanctuary near Newent in Gloucestershire.

This attraction has bird aviaries set amongst landscaped gardens and displays around 250 birds of more than 70 different species of bird of prey including owls, eagles, falcons, vultures and buzzards. Flying displays are held 3 times daily with different birds being flown in each of the shows. During inclement weather the displays are held indoors.

The centre aims to help conserve birds of prey in the wild through breeding programs and rescue and rehabilitation and to educate visitors about the birds. There is an education room with interactive educational displays, a woodland visitors can walk through with an adventure course for kids, plus two wildlife ponds and a children’s play area and turf maze next to the outdoor flying display area. Experience days available. Caters for children’s birthday parties.

  • Mar to Oct: 10:30am – 5:30pm
  • Nov and Feb: 10:30am – 4:30pm
  • Dec and Jan: Closed except for courses and Owl Evenings

  • Adult – £10.90
  • Child 4 to 15 years – £7.00
  • Child (under 4) – Free
  • Family (2 adults, 2 children) – £33.00
