Blackgang Chine

Blackgang Chine is a theme park set in 40 acres of Victorian cliff top gardens near Ventnor on the Isle of Wight.

This attraction is set in a gorge cut into the cliff-face has outdoor themed areas, gardens, exhibits, rides and film shows. The Lands of Imagination has areas to wonder through with things to see including a recreation of a Wild-West cowboy town, water gardens, a Pirate cove with battling ships, Fairy land with fairies and castles, a shop with animatronic musical animals, a giant hedge maze, an area with giant models of insects and bugs and new for 2014 an area called 'Restricted Area 5' with life-size animatronic dinosaur models.

Rides visitors can go on include a roller-coaster, a water raft slide and spinning barrels. Other attractions include a hall of mirrors, a crooked house, the Rumpus mansion and a life-size game of snakes and ladders. Exhibits and film shows include the World of Timber, Disappearing coastline, Myth and Legend show and the Wight Experience.
