Blackpool Pleasure Beach is an entertainment park in the heart of Blackpool. The park features something for all ages with a combination of thrill rides, more sedate rides plus lots of other fun things to do and see.

There is a fee to enter the park and for an additional charge you can purchase a wristband to allow you to go on the rides.  Just some of the thrill rides are: The Big One, the tallest, fastest roller coaster in the UK, Avalanche (a bobsled roller coaster), Infusion (a suspended roller coaster) and Valhalla an indoor water ride.

Nickelodeon land is a six acre area featuring Nickelodeon themed rides such as Dora's World Voyage, Rugrats Lost River (log-flume ride), Spongebob's Splash Bash and Avatar Airbender. Also arriving in 2013, to join the 42 acres of family rides, is the Wallace and Gromit THRILL-O-MATIC which joins other family oriented attractions like the dodgems, a ghost train, tea cups, Alice's Wonderland ride, Alpine Ralley (car ride) and the Chinese Puzzle Maze.

Other attractions, inside the park, include a Ripley's Believe it or not museum, a mini golf course, an ice skating rink, 10-pin bowling, the horror crypt, Pasaje del Terror (an interactive horror experience) and a park Clairvoyant, all of which require an extra fee to enter once inside the park.

Throughout the day and evening there are also shows being performed at the various venues such as the Beyond Belief magic show, ice-skating shows and the Circus of Horrors show, which in the main require an additional fee. The park also contains many different places to eat, both fast food outlets, cafes and full service restaurants.
