Dalton Castle

Dalton Castle is a 14th century tower managed by the National Trust in Dalton-in-Furness, Cumbria.

Situated in the market place, the building is believed to have been the manorial courthouse belonging to the town's Abbey. The structure originally had 4 stories and would have contained a courtroom, administrative rooms, a gaol, guardsroom and stores, but now features just two floors displaying a collection of armour.
