Down at the Farm

Down at the Farm is a children's 20-acres animal farm in rural countryside between Sunderland and Durham.

The attraction aims to give kids interactive farm and animal based learning experiences, plus lots of opportunities to play. Play activities include a tractor ride, a barrel train ride (charge), jumping pillow, quad bikes (charge), inflatable slides, an adventure playground, a giant sandpit, bouncy castle, play houses, pedal tractors and coin-operated racing cars.

There are also organised sessions, talks and shows which can include craft sessions, magic shows, Bird o Batics falconry shows, animal petting and grooming sessions. Plenty of animals to see and interact with including reindeer, a giant tortoise, raccoons, alpacas, prairie dogs, Shetland ponies, donkeys, rabbits, guinea pigs, snowy owls, meerkats, pigs, sheep, cows, chickens, ducks, geese, goats and reptiles.
