Eureka! The National Children’s Museum

Eureka! The National Children’s Museum is a museum aimed at children in Halifax in West Yorkshire.

The museum is a mainly indoor attraction with six galleries and lots of hands on, interactive exhibits designed for children to have fun and learn at the same time. The 'All about Me' area is about the human body and how it works.

There is a recreated town square with shops and businesses in the Living and Working together gallery. Soundspace gallery is where kids can learn about music and sound. There are two galleries specially designed for under 5 year olds which are the Sound Garden a giant sized, brightly coloured garden area with things to smell and things to play with and touch and the Desert discovery gallery is an oasis themed padded play area.

The global garden gallery has exhibits about the different areas of the world. Outdoors there is a sensory trail to follow called the Wonder walk, plus there is outdoor play equipment and a giant sandpit.
