Larmer Tree Gardens is an 11 acre garden near Shaftesbury in Wiltshire.

Set in Cranborne Chase, this outdoor attraction was originally created in the late 1800s for public enjoyment. The gardens are recognised by English Heritage as a Garden of National Importance and in 1991 the gardens reopened to the public. Amongst the things to see in the garden are laurel-hedging, follies, waterways with waterfalls and ponds, woodland displays of camellias and rhododendron, a laurel tunnel, the singing theatre, the dell and grotto and lawns plus there are a number of ornamental birds around the gardens including peacocks and parrots. There’s also an information room about the garden areas and the history of the garden.
