Loseley Park

Loseley Park is a historic house with gardens between Guildford and Godalming in Surrey.

This historic home is an Elizabethan country manor house built in the 16th century with a wing added in the 17th century. Often visited by royalty, the house has been owned by the More-Molyneux family since being built. The grandiose interiors include wood panelled rooms with intricate carving, an elaborately carved chalk fireplace, ornate plasterwork ceilings and wonderful collections of art and furniture. The artwork includes portraits of royalty and all the family members. The house is viewed by guided tour.

There are also 2.5 acres of walled garden to view divided into rooms. The rooms include a flower garden with annuals, herbaceous plants and shrubs, the white garden, a rose garden plus a herb garden and an organic vegetable garden. There are also a further 100 acres of grounds, which include a wildflower meadow just outside the walled garden.
