Old Soar Manor is the remains of a small stone built manor house dating from the late 1200's located on the edge of the North Downs.
The property was once owned by the Culpeppers a leading Kentish family and consists of a solar, a latrine, the private quarters and small private chapel. They were once connected to a timber hall, but this was demolished in 1780 to make way for the construction of a farmhouse.
