Smithills Open Farm

Smithills Open Farm is a family run 70 acre farm attraction with children's activities just North of Bolton in Greater Manchester.

In addition to farm animals such as cows, horses, sheep, pigs and goats they also have donkeys, eagles, hawks, owls, peacocks, rhea, llamas, alpacas, ferrets, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, spiders, snakes and stick insects to see. Lots of opportunities to touch and pet the animals and food to feed the animals is available to buy at the shop. Children's activities include bouncy castles, an adventure playground and inflatable assault course, sandpit, donkey rides, tractor and trailer rides and toy tractors. There is also a daily falconry display. Santa's grotto at Christmas. Caters for birthday parties.
