Story of Scouting Museum is a museum about the history of the Scouting movement North of Preston in Lancashire.

Housed in a purpose-built building the attraction, entitled 'Be Prepared - The Story of Scouting', details the history of the Scouts from it's origins in the early 1900's to the modern day. Exhibits and displays include 2000 books and publications, photographs, uniforms, badges and memorabilia and includes information on famous former Scouts. There is also a wing about the girls version of the Scouts, the Girl Guides.
