Touchstones Rochdale is an art and heritage centre in Rochdale town centre in Lancashire.

Sited in a former library building this indoor attraction includes an art gallery, a museum, a local studies centre and a visitor information centre. The art gallery has four galleries, one gallery displays a selection of borough’s own pieces of art, two further galleries display works on loan from other organisations and the fourth gallery is for showcasing local community artwork. The museum part of the centre has information about the local history of Rochdale including geological, social and archaeological displays with many hands on exhibits.

In the Local Studies and Archives section visitors can arrange to view documents held including Parish records, census returns, trade directories, maps, plans, books, newspapers and photographs (pre-booking essential).The Visitor Information centre has members of staff to help visitors find things to see and do in the area in addition to having details of accommodation providers.
