Aldershot Military Museum is a museum about the military town of Aldershot and the local area since 1854 between Farnborough and Aldershot in Hampshire.
Housed in a number of old brick-built barrack blocks this museum has mainly exhibits relating to the military history of the area, plus a local history gallery. The John Reed gallery features displays recreating barrack scenes from the 1890s and the 1950s and a married couple's living quarters from the 1960s. There are also displays of historic items such as uniforms, medals, weapons and furniture. This gallery also includes a tank simulator and a training tunnel.
The Rushmoor local history gallery contains the non-military local history exhibits including a recreation of a Victorian shop and displays about Farnborough Abbey and local industries. A gallery about the first powered flight in the UK which occurred at Farnborough in 1908 with American Samuel Franklin Cody in the cockpit is in the Cody gallery. There are also collections of artillery guns and military vehicles to see including tanks and armoured cars in and around the Montgomery gallery. Finally the Boyce building is a 1930s wooden barrack block which has displays about the various Royal Army Corps divisions located at the nearby Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Church Crookham.
