Ashdown House was built in the late 1600's, has an unusual dolls' house style appearance and is located in a beautiful Berkshire Downs valley. The house is viewed by guided tours 3 times a day when open and includes the hall, the staircase and the roof. The reception also contains artefacts and information about the house. The house grounds feature a parterre (maze). Woodland surrounds the house and grounds and features walks and trails, maps for which can be obtained at reception.
