Chastleton House

Chastleton House is a Jacobean country manor house built in the early 1600's featuring rooms largely unaltered for the last 400 years and it's Grade II listed gardens.

The house and gardens were given over to the National Trust in 1991 and the decision was made to conserve rather than renovate thus creating an environment where there visitor can truly feel like they've stepped back in time. Free guided tours of the gardens which features topiary, a working kitchen garden and a Mulberry tree believed to be 400 years old.
