Dolaucothi Gold Mines are historic gold mines in Pumsaint, between Llandovery and Lampeter in Carmarthenshire, West Wales.

This attraction features gold mines that were mined during Roman times and again in Victorian times through to the 20th century. They are located on wooded hillsides overlooking the Cothi Valley and are part of a 2,500 acre estate managed by the National Trust. The buildings and machinery date from the 1930s era, during the Roman era the gold was excavated from open-cast pits.

Guided tours, included with the entry price, allow visitors to learn about how the gold was mined in the different periods and go down some of the underground works. Visitors can also have a go at panning for gold themselves. The wider 2,500-acre estate has walking, cycling and horse-riding trails and places for fishing (permit required).
