Elizabethan House Museum is a museum about domestic life from Tudor times through to Victorian times in Great Yarmouth in Norfolk.
Housed in a late 16th century Tudor merchant's house in the Heritage quarter of the seaside resort. The house features period furniture and domestic items in both the upstairs and downstairs parts of the house showing what life what like for both the servants and the owners.
Things to do in the house include dressing up in replica Tudor costumes, a toy room with vintage toys and activities in the Conspiracy room to find out about the plot to kill Charles I. Amongst the things on display are a collection of Civil war coins from the Haddiscoe hoard and information about Yarmouth during the Civil War.
There is also a small walled garden to see. Free audio tour and regularly held events with various demonstrations and activities.
