Marwell Wildlife is a walk around 140-acre zoo with over 170 different species of animal on display in landscaped enclosures.
Themed areas include the Tropical World glasshouse which features plants and creatures at home in a tropical rainforest, Penguin cove with an underwater viewing area and a walk-through aviary. Some of the animals you can see include giraffes, zebras, ostriches, rhinos, leopards, meerkats, gibbons, kookaburra, wallabies, penguins, lizards, red pandas, macaques and owls.
There are also formal gardens behind Marwell Hall that you can view featuring a knot garden, a parterre and a kitchen garden. Three children's adventure play areas, free road train to take you around the park and a miniature railway ride for which there is a charge.
