Warner Textile Archive

Warner Textile Archive is a textile and design museum 5 minute walk from Braintree town centre in Essex.

Housed in an original Warner & Sons mill building the collection includes items relating to design and craftsmanship, weaving and printing techniques and information on the process of producing textiles. There are permanent and temporary exhibit spaces which display a selection of items from their extensive collection gathered over 500 years. Items include paper designs, pattern books, photographs, printing blocks, Jacquard cards, original drawings, crafted items such as silks woven for royal coronations, kimonos and creations from contemporary designers.
