Blackbrook Zoological Park is a walk-through animal attraction specialising in birds set in over 30 acres of landscaped Staffordshire Moorlands with lakes and ponds.

Located between Leek and Ashbourne just off the A523 the park not only features more than 200 species of bird it also has a number of mammals such as meerkats and ring-tailed lemurs, plus reptiles and fish. The park is a charitable organisation and contains many rare and endangered species of bird and wildfowl and is actively involved in breeding programmes. Some of the birds you can see include penguins, emu, the cassowary, cranes, emu, ibis, flamingos, peacocks, pelicans, kookaburras and a large collection of owls. There is a new tropical house opening in 2014. Children's play area. Zoo keeper experience days available.

Open from 10am daily during March to September then Friday, Saturday and Sunday the rest of the year and closed 24th December to the 1st of January.
