Charles Dickens Museum is a museum, about the world famous author Charles Dickens, situated in the city of London.
This indoor attraction is set in a house once owned by Charles Dickens, the only house belonging to him remaining standing. It contains the world's most important collection of Dickens related artefacts with a collection of over 1000 items. Furnished in early Victorian style, set in around 1839, the time when Dickens lived here, the things visitors can see include personal items, manuscripts, letters, paintings and rare edition books.
Costumed tours for an additional charge are available on the third Saturday of the month (normal admission starts at 1pm on these days).
