Jane Austen's House Museum is a museum about the life and works of author Jane Austen situated in the village of Chawton in Hampshire.
This 17th century house is where the author Jane Austen lived for the last eight years of her life. The house is decorated in keeping with the period of her life and features original artefacts, clothing and personal items from the writer's life. Some of the items on display that belonged to her include books, letters, jewellery and furniture. The house also features a tranquil garden. Audio trail available.
