Jorvik DIG is an archaeological adventure, located in the St. Saviour's Church, with four 4 replica excavation pits filled with Roman, Viking, medieval and Victorian finds for you to unearth.
The attraction is accessed via timed tours accompanied by an archaeologist, so you can just turn up on spec and join the next free tour, or book in advance. Early years area for kids aged 2 to 5 with activities like dressing up, puppets, games and storybooks.

- Last admission 4pm
- DIG will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
- On New Year’s Eve the last tour at DIG will be at 2pm and on New Year’s Day the first tour at DIG will be at 11am.
