King John’s Hunting Lodge is a timber-framed Tudor house dating from around 1500 located in Axbridge town centre.
The house now serves as a local history museum for the mid-Somerset area. It has no genuine connection to King John since he died about 250 years before the house was constructed, but it was given this name in the early 1900’s and it is still known as this today.
