Nash's House and New Place consists of the home of Shakespeare's granddaughter and the foundations of New Place, Shakespeare's last home located in Stratford upon Avon.

New Place was where Shakespeare died and where he wrote some of his later plays and recently has been the site of an on-going archaeological dig. The finds of the dig can be seen in an exhibition.

Nash's house belonged to the first husband of Shakespeare's last direct descendant, his granddaughter and was built next to where New Place used to stand. The house is now furnished in Tudor style, as New Place might have looked when it still being used. There is also a Tudor knot garden to view. Tickets to view the house available as part of a package to view a number of the Shakespeare houses in Stratford.

  • Stratford town centre car parking (charge).
