Sandham Memorial Chapel

Sandham Memorial Chapel is a chapel, built in the 1920s specifically to contain the work of the British artist Stanley Spencer.

The works of art reflect the artist's experiences during the first world war, with religious overtones. Situated in the North Hampshire Downs, the Chapel overlooks Watership Down and there is also a wild flower orchard at the property.
