Sledmere House is a historic house with gardens and parkland located North West of Driffield in East Yorkshire.
Originally built in the late 1700s the house was largely rebuilt in the early 1900 due to a fire. Most of the houses contents were saved and there are collections of fine art and furniture to view inside. The house is viewed either by guided tours or by self-led tours. Self-led tours are on Sundays and Thursdays. The gardens include a walled garden, rose garden, dell garden and parterre. Also at the attraction is the Wagoners museum about a division of the army in the First World War that ran supplies to the front line using horse drawn wagons and the Triton Gallery featuring exhibits of contemporary art.
