Formerly known as The Parrot Zoo, Lincolnshire Wildlife Park is one of the UK's premier animal sanctuaries, set within 25 acres of landscaped gardens near Friskney. While it remains home to the National Parrot Sanctuary (the largest collection of rescued parrots in the UK with over 1,000 birds), the park has expanded significantly to house a diverse range of animals from around the world.

Visitors can now see an incredible collection of big cats, including Bengal Tigers, White Lions, and one of the only Black Leopards on display in the UK. The park continues its charitable mission to provide a long-term sanctuary for animals in need. Popular interactive experiences remain, such as the walk-through aviaries where visitors can get close to the parrots and feed them (treats available for purchase at the "Animal Snax" kiosk).

In addition to parrots and big cats, the park features meerkats, lemurs, giant tortoises, tapirs, otters, and a dedicated reptile and amphibian display located within the diner. The 11-acre Ivanvale Nature Reserve offers a peaceful walk through indigenous trees and plants, supporting native British wildlife. Facilities include a children's outdoor adventure playground, fully wheelchair-accessible walkways (with manual wheelchairs available for hire), and a brand-new "Changing Places" accessible space.

  • Free off-road car parking (including disabled spaces).
  • The Rainforest Diner - Recently refurbished, serving a wide range of hot and cold food, with reptile displays to view while you eat.
  • 'Zoo'venirs Gift Shop - Offering a variety of mementos and exclusive park merchandise.
  • Animal Experiences - Pre-booked sessions are available to feed the tigers, meerkats, or tapirs.

Note: For Sat Nav, please use the postcode PE22 8PP. The seasonal free bus service from Skegness is subject to timetable changes; visitors are advised to check current local transport schedules.
