Petworth House is a 17th century country mansion with an accompanying 700 acres of parkland located within the South Downs National Park.

The house is home to the current Lord and Lady Egremont and features a gallery with fine sculptures and paintings by artists such as Van Dyck, Blake and Turner. Other features of the house include a Baroque marble hall, a grand staircase, a dining room and the carved room all decorated with fine furniture and period features. There is also a fascinating servants quarters to be viewed complete with period equipment and furnishings. Additional rooms available to view during weekdays.

The Parkland is open all year and has it's own car park free to National Trust members. The park features include a lake, thousand year old trees and fallow deer roaming free.
