Ackers Adventure

Ackers Adventure is a sports and activity centre in Sparkbrook, Birmingham in the West Midlands.

Set on a 75 acre site of reclaimed, semi rural land with the Grand Union canal running through it, this attraction provides the facilities to have a go at various sporting activities. The company is a non-profit, charitable organisation set up to use the site for the benefit and enjoyment of the community and they run courses catering for all ages and abilities from beginner to coaching standard and also provide courses for special needs individuals.

The canal is where the canoeing and other water sports occur, plus they have a dry ski slope, climbing walls, jungle challenge course, zip lines and an events tower. In addition to the canoeing and kayaking participants can also have a go at archery, skiing, abseiling, climbing, snowboarding, bushcraft, tobogganing, orienteering and bellboating. The centre has courses and lessons for individuals or groups, or can cater for birthday parties, team building and hen or stag party events. Prebooking is necessary for all activities.
